The Animals P 2

labrador

Q What happened next?

A When we decided to move we realised that the three remaining animals had fallen behind with their Rabbies vacinations. It takes 6 months. We started the treatment but Brians' return to the UK happened before they would be allowed back into the uk and so they had to stay in Kennels. Georgie. the Ginger Cat, ended up staying with Trevor and Rosemary and was re-united with Nipper, and Jacob and Rupert went to some fantastic kennels in Rethemno. How lucky we were to find two of the most delightful people you could ever wish to know, running a 5 star kennels.
Regular calls and all was well. They were due to fly back when disaster.  Jacob, the Black Lab died suddenly in his sleep. This was a terrible blow. The flights were booked for Rupert and Georgie who arrived safely at Gatwick. They live with us in London and have settled well.
Jacob is buried at the kennels, George, Wallace , Grommitt and Walnut are buried under an Olive Tree at Souda View. It was one of those spots that all the animals loved.
