Q Did Les and Pete visit? A Yes many times. They had some wonderful holidays with us. On one occasion, their apartment was on a holiday let and they stayed upstairs with us. No problems at all. Q Now that you have sold the villa, do you still see Pete and Les? A Oh yes. We speak all the time on the phone and have been, and stayed, with them several times, including a long weekend just before last Christmas. Q Are they well? A Pete has had a few problems, but after his treatment ended he was given a clean bill of health. Q How did they react to the sale of the house? A Well we did buy them out a couple of years ago, but they were very sad that our dream had come to an end so quickly. We too were sad. After all we were intending to stay. They are the best friends anyone could wish for and I know they say the same about us. |
